Traffic Calming

A Speed Indicator Device (SID) is a temporary vehicle activated illuminated sign that displays vehicle speeds. They help raise awareness of local speed limits and are proven to reduce traffic speed at appropriate locations. Warmington Parish Council has commissioned a scheme that will see a SID located at various entrances to the village, and are awaiting details from the Northamptonshire Highways department regarding the installation schedule.
